CAREER PROGRESSION

Build a career that grows as you do.

EMERGE is a career-progression platform for Africa’s rising generation of professionals.
We bring development, relationships, guidance, and opportunity together in one continuous journey, helping you understand where you are, build what you need next, expand your network, access new pathways, and continue progressing over time.

WHY EMERGE EXISTS

Talent is abundant. The infrastructure around progression is not.

Across Africa, millions of capable young professionals are entering the workforce, building careers or growing businesses with qualifications, technical knowledge and ambition. But qualifications and technical capability alone do not prepare someone to build a career or grow a business. Progression depends on much more: professional judgement, workplace navigation, confidence, relationships, visibility, access to opportunity and knowing what to develop next.

Too often, those things are fragmented, unequally distributed or unavailable altogether. A person can have a job and still feel stuck, be highly capable and remain unseen, or have ambition without access to the relationships and opportunities that help them move forward. This is not simply a skills gap. It is an infrastructure gap, and EMERGE exists to close it.

01

Capabilities for Progression

ractical, applied development built around the realities of work and enterprise across Africa, strengthening judgement, execution, communication, adaptability and the professional confidence people need to keep moving forward.

02

Connected to the World of Work

Employers, practitioners and experienced leaders are part of the journey, giving participants greater exposure to workplace realities, different perspectives and the relationships and insight that can help them navigate what comes next.

03

Designed for Wider Access

We intentionally design for people whose progression can be constrained by circumstance, geography, disability, displacement, gender or limited networks, so that access to development, relationships and support is not reserved for the already connected.
